    8. Please note that uncoated paper will be the easiest to write on with any pen, marker, or highlighter. This stock has a finish similar to standard printer paper.

    Silk stock will be the next easiest to write on with a marker, ball-point pen, and some highlighters.

    Gloss stock will require a marker to write on.

  8. *Binding Method

    ?

    Saddle Stitch (Staple)

    Saddle stitching involves inserting staples through the spine of a multi-page document before it’s folded. Most booklets and smaller magazines use this binding method. Our equipment also allows for a squared edge which is more prevalent with large page counts.

     

    Coil Bound

    Coil binding involves inserting plastic coils through holes drilled along the left-hand side of each page. This technique allows the finished document to lie flat and double-over on itself. Technical manuals and notebooks are commonly coil bound.

     

    Perfect Bound

    Perfect bound or soft cover books have an attractive square edge that gives a highly professional look. Pages are glued together instead of a traditional saddle / staple stitch. We suggest using a heavier weight paper for the cover for best results.

    Make it easy for your customers to hang your calendar on a wall with a pre-punched 3/16" hole.

    Please let us know if you need the project to be completed by a certain date or specific time.  Our quote and production team will ensure that we can meet your deadline.

    If you also require a hard copy proof please let us know and we can produce a physical print that can be reviewed before production.  This proof will be available at our shop and we will not begin production until it is approved.

    15. Every order will receive a digital artwork proof to review and approve before we begin production.

    If you also need a physical hard copy proof of the product please let us know and we can print a physical sample.

    Please let us know what types of files you have or if you will need to work with one of our professional designers. This will help us guide your project and ensure everything is moving forward smoothly.

    Artwork setup is additional if needed and is based on the complexity and time involved of the design work.  One of our designers will review the project with you and give a quote for any design work before we begin.
